Active problems on key corridors

Route 178 on Mount Zion Road showed no buses for more than three and a half hours by mid-afternoon, well beyond its usual thirty-minute headway. The Red and Gold lines carried a service alert that had already lasted more than twelve hours, while the Green Line posted an ongoing notice approaching twenty-one hours. Additional reports covered Route 20 between South DeKalb and downtown Atlanta, Route 66 on Brownlee and Harbin roads, Route 15 along Clifton and Candler roads, and Route 7 on Boulevard and McDonough Boulevard, where a detour remained in place.
